Following scenic coastal roads from Rhode Island through Cape Cod, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine, the mostly paved, 2-up-friendly route links historic harbor towns, islands, lighthouse-lined shorelines, and walkable waterfront destinations, with optional historic dirt road sections that add character and variety while keeping the focus on ocean views, culture, and relaxed daily mileage over distance.
